To maximize success for our clients, we offer multiple hunt options, including day hunts and five-day fully guided hunts. Our day hunts are ideal for local hunters who do not require lodging and can remain flexbile with scheduling. Because mountain lion hunting is heavily dependent on weather and snow conditions, flexibility often plays a key role in success. Our five-day hunts provide the complete outfitted experience, including professional guiding, lodging, meals, and the opportunity to hunt some of Colorado's most productive lion country.

Colorado mountain lion licenses are available over the counter and are managed through a quota-based system established by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Albertson Hounds & Outfitting operates in multiple quota areas, providing the flexibility to move between units if a specific area reaches its harvest limit. Before purchasing a Colorado mountain lion license, hunters must complete the mandatory Colorado Parks and Wildlife Mountain Lion Education Exam.
